  "message": "[LTO] Introduce a helper function collectImportStatistics (NFC) (#106179)\n\nThis patch introduces a helper function collectImportStatistics.  The\r\nnew function computes statistics of imports for\r\nComputeCrossModuleImport and dumpImportListForModule with no\r\nfunctional change.\r\n\r\nThe background is as follows.  I\u0027m planning to reduce the memory\r\nfootprint of ThinLTO indexing by changing ImportMapTy, the data\r\nstructure used for an import list.  The new list will be a hash set of\r\ntuples (SourceModule, GUID, ImportType) represented in a space\r\nefficient manner.  That means that obtaining statistics like the\r\nnumber of definitions per source module requires us to go through the\r\nentire import list (for a given destination module).\r\n\r\nIntroducing a helper function now makes the callers more independent\r\nof the underlying data structures used in ImportMapT.",
